Natasha Turton, Research Economist has completed a B.COM Business Management at the University of Johannesburg (UJ) and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Cape Town - Graduate School of Business (GSB).
Her MBA thesis was an analytical study of entrepreneurship and SME development and its challenges (with special reference to Zambia).
Her expertise is mainly on development in emerging markets, particularly Southern Africa.
Prior to completing her MBA, Natasha spent five years in Mozambique working on strategy development, as well as commercial, marketing and distribution management for several companies. Since 2011 she has been working as a researcher and consultant on contracts which focus on social development in South Africa.
Natasha's main skills involve consulting, research and analysis, assessing numerous fields and elements which impact the economy, business and social development. Her passions are entrepreneurship development, skills development, and education.
